The Individual Studio Session is R 2,300 all-in. That covers up to an hour in the studio, the direction and coaching, tethered live review on a large screen, and six retouched images, each delivered as a full-resolution file, a web-optimised file, and a LinkedIn-ready crop. Additional retouched images are R 300 each, or four for R 1,000, if you want more contexts covered. You select your images on screen at the end of the session, and any unused frames are deleted.

Studio sessions run up to one hour. There is no fixed clock. The session ends when you have the images you need. Most clients take between thirty and forty-five minutes from sitting down to confirming their selects.

Six retouched images are included, which covers most needs comfortably. If your headshot will appear across a press kit, a speaker profile, a board pack, and a company team page, adding more at R 300 each, or four for R 1,000, covers every context from one session.

Retouched images are delivered as JPEG files at full resolution (minimum 3,000 pixels on the long edge) and as web-optimised versions (1,200 pixels, sRGB). Files are individually named and delivered via a private download link within two working days of payment of the image invoice.

Yes. Next-morning delivery is available at 15% of the session total, with a R 500 minimum. Same-day delivery is 30%, with a R 1,000 minimum. Confirm the deadline at the time of booking or as soon as it is known.

The studio is at the Saltcircle Building, 19 Kent Street, Woodstock, Cape Town. Parking is available on the street. Clients regularly travel from the CBD, Century City, Claremont, Constantia, and Stellenbosch.

Business or business casual, consistent with how you present yourself professionally. Avoid very fine stripes, busy patterns, and large logos. No. Most professionals walk in feeling stiff. On-set coaching covers posture, expression, and what to do with hands from the moment the session starts. Real-time review on screen means you see how you look in each set-up and adjust before moving on. You select your own images with me on screen before the session ends, and that is what changes how confident you feel about the result.

Standard retouching is included on every selected image: skin smoothing, blemish removal, and light cleanup. Specific requests are noted during the selection step and applied as part of the standard delivery.

A reshoot is included at no additional cost if the images are not right. Because every image is reviewed on screen and confirmed before you leave, this is rare. Allow around ten minutes a person, longer for executives needing several looks. Business profile photoshoots for a leadership page, a company website, or a press pack are all handled in the same session. Team sessions are priced per person against a minimum booking rather than a setup fee, so the cost is predictable before anyone steps in front of the camera.

Yes. I keep a record of the lighting setup, background, and processing style used for each individual and each team, so a new starter photographed a year later matches the existing set. This matters most for company team pages and annual reports, where a mismatched portrait is immediately obvious. Sessions at the Woodstock studio and mobile sessions at your offices can both be matched to an existing standard.

A headshot is tightly cropped on the face and shoulders and is built to work at small sizes, such as a LinkedIn profile photo, an email signature, or a company team page. A corporate portrait is a wider frame that takes in the setting and is used where there is room for it: annual report spreads, website leadership pages, press features, and pitch decks. Both come out of the same session. Where the brief calls for it, a wider environmental frame is shot in your own workspace alongside the standard studio crop, so one sitting covers both needs.

Yes. Individual sessions are open to anyone. Many clients book their own sessions independently of their company, particularly executives, consultants, and professionals updating their LinkedIn or press image.
